Critical Communication Skills for Successful Coaches
Speaker, Author, Professional Blogger
7pm - 8:30pm (CST)
**Details for Webinar will be sent to registrants July 6th**
One of the most important skill sets a successful coach has is the ability to communicate effectively. Some coaches come into the field with natural communication skills. However, for most people, the key communication skills of active listening, empathizing, asking powerful questions, providing effective feedback, and clearly expressing themselves, are skills that have to be learned, reinforced, and practiced to become “natural.”
In this webinar, speaker, author, and communication blogger Amy Castro, will share five key critical communication skills for successful coaches:
- Active listening skills that help you get to the real message a client is communicating
- The power of empathy to build rapport and bridge to accountability messages
- How to use effective questioning techniques to gather information, help clients problem solve, and more
- Assertive communication skills that allow you to clearly communicate in a variety of situations, from providing direction to providing feedback
