Coaches Corner at United Way Monday May 19th
ICW Houston kicks off Monday, May 19th with ICF Houston's Coaches Corner for the employees of the United Way of Greater Houston. Coaches Corner is a feature of ICF Houston, and this will be a day of complimentary coaching sessions as a way of giving back to people who give so much. The Coaches Corner event at the United Way of Greater Houston on Monday May 19th runs from 9:00-3:30.

"States of Mind in Strategic Coaching"

Many of the ways we attempt change are contrary of how the mind and brain work. Dave Krueger explores the role of stress and its impact on decision-making for executives and professionals. Neuropsychology and neuroscience inform brain-based strategic coaching to achieve optimum performance. Tools and exercises are presented to enhance choice architecture. Participants will recognize and understand emotional couplings, and learn how to condition themselves to make changes that last. Dave will address a most important success strategy for clients: regulation of states of mind.

Message from our President
Welcome to the International Coaches Federation (ICF) Houston Chapter. The profession of coaching is expanding rapidly and the ICF Houston Chapter is leading the way by delivering innovative programs, educational events and networking opportunities for the professional coaching community and its sponsors. Our vision is simply to be The “Go To” resource for Houston area coaches.
Our 2013-2014 Goals align with our 3 year strategic plan to:
- Enhance the visibility of the ICF Houston Chapter and its members
- Add incremental value to our membership, sponsors and community
- Improve our internal processes to further enhance the ICF Houston Chapter experience
I would like to extend a warm thank you to Liz Plaster, our Past President, for all of her hard work and dedication these past two years. We all deeply appreciate her commitment of time, energy and passion to shaping the organization and her continued service to the coaching community.
